Institute of Contemporary Art San José – ICA Social Club: Speed Dating the Artists

For the final three ICA Social Club programs we will be hearing from artists ICA curators have their eyes on – their ‘art crushes.’ Each program will feature five or six rapid-fire studio visits, sort of like speed dating the artists. You’ll get an overview of their practice and will hear about their work in the ICA Social Club Auction. Program attendees will get early access to the ICA Social Club Auction page for a first look at auction artworks. Our first Speed Dating the Artists program features Maria Paz, Terri Friedman, Anna Valdez, Alyson Shotz, and Caroline Kent.
This talk is also part of the “ICA Social Club: A Master Class in Collecting Contemporary Art.” Participants will have “behind the scenes” access to experts and leaders in all aspects of the Contemporary Art ecosystem in the private 8-class program.
